Ethylene propylene rubber is a synthetic rubber with a wide range of applications. Its main characteristics are less affected by temperature and ozone, as well as resistance to general climate change. This membrane is also particularly suitable for polar substances and vapors.
Characteristic
EPDM is particularly suitable for hot water, cold water, alkaline media, and non concentrated acids. Therefore, EPDM is suitable for sanitary applications, which require steam sterilization and oxidation media.
It is not recommended to use EPDM membranes for mineral and vegetable oils, plant and animal fats, aliphatic or aromatic hydrocarbons, halogenated solvents or concentrated acids, as these media can damage the structure of the membrane.
Temperature range
Continuous operation from -5°C to +143°C
+150°C sustainable for 60 minutes
